“Henekh Kon: Beyond ‘The Dybbuk’”, Diana Matut (University Halle-Wittenberg)

Henech Kon is remembered today as the composer of film score for The Dybbuk and songs, such as “Shpilzhe mir a lidele in Yidish.” The lecture will contextualize Kon's work, especially his Yiddish opera Dovid un Bas Sheve. For more information, please see the flyer
