Minor in Norwegian

The Minor in Norwegian requires three semesters of Norwegian language (K150, K200 and K250) as well as three additional literature or culture courses (9 credit hours), taught in English, chosen from E361, E362, E363, or HIST-B 303/D300/CEUS R309 (approved topic: Modern Scandinavia and the Baltic States).

*Study abroad credits may also be considered and can potentially count towards the degree.*

The content courses also carry Arts & Humanities Breadth of Inquiry credit and Global Civilizations & Culture credit. Topics include: Ibsen and Strindberg, The Tales of Hans Christian Andersen, Vikings and Sagas, The Multicultural North, Masterpieces of Scandinavian Literature, and The Modern Breakthrough.
