Josh Harris received a B.A. in German at the University of Tulsa in 2016. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Germanic Linguistics and Philology at IU. In the academic year 2017-18 he was a Medieval Studies fellow at Indiana University, and he has worked as an Assistant Instructor in German there since 2018. He has participated twice in the University of Iceland and University of Copenhagen’s Scandinavian Manuscripts Summer School. His research interests include Germanic philology, historical linguistics, etymology, Indo-European linguistics, Old English religious poetry, Medieval Scandinavia, Norwegian language and culture, and Semitic philology. He is a lover of obscure and niche memes, unusual alcohols, Yorkies, Skyrim, and all things sour.
