The IU German Film & Theater Project for high schools ('GFTP') is a day of workshops, sketches, food, fun, film festival and prizes, all designed to celebrate the creativity of Indiana high school German students and their teachers. We, the IU Department of Germanic Studies instructors and volunteers, are proud to host the thirteenth annual German Film & Theater Project on our campus on Friday, April 17th!
Due to popular demand, we are excited to add the category of Best Horror to our main film submission categories of Best Drama and Best Comedy. In addition to these three categories that the IU Department of Germanic Studies votes on, all GFTP attendees on April 17th will view video submissions together film-festival-style to vote for the Audience Choice Award!
Each video submitted will also be awarded a specialized certificate if it does not win in the four categories above.
To participate in the German Film & Theater Project, please submit videos (and any questions / other materials) to gerthtr@iu.edu by Monday, April 6th.
