Eskenazi Museum of Art

The Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art is one of the foremost university art museums in the country, with collections that span nearly every art-producing culture throughout history.

Experimental Humanities Lab

Started by Germanic Studies professor Fritz Breithaupt, the Experimental Humanities Lab conducts research concerning narrative events. The opportunity for involvement is available to students from a wide range of fields and interests.

The Institute for European Studies works in concert with other Indiana University resources to offer support for international pursuits, study abroad, and research.

EURO Film Library

Archived within the Institute for European Studies, this extensive collection of films includes a German collection. Movies are available for check-out to students, faculty, staff, and K-12 educators.

Institute of German Studies

Founded in 1969, the Institute of German Studies facilitates and promotes interdisciplinary research and study of German literature and culture at Indiana University Bloomington.

Kinsey Institute

The Kinsey Institute Collections encompass print materials, film and video, fine art, artifacts, photography, archives, and data from human history. These include a German collection.

Lilly Library

Home of an exceptional collection of rare books, manuscripts, and special collections, the Lilly Library houses many manuscripts in German, Dutch, Norwegian, and Yiddish.

The Center for Theoretical Inquiry in the Humanities

The Center for Theoretical Inquiry in the Humanities responds to the desire of scholars and students in all areas of the humanities to investigate the foundational issues of their disciplines.

Office of Overseas Study

IU’s Office of Overseas Study offers a variety of exceptional programs and provides more than $100,000 in need and merit-based scholarships annually.

The EURO faculty and staff have done an amazing job keeping the film library stocked and updated with the newest and hottest films from Europe. The rich collection features both old masterpieces and new documentaries debating pressing issues in Europe. As such, it has been a tremendous resource for me in teaching all of my courses: both the Norwegian language classes, and the Scandinavian literature and culture classes.
