Department of Germanic Studies

Schopi earned his BA from Southern Utah University in 2025. He double majored in Philosophy and French with a minor in German. He was the department’s German tutor for almost his entire time as an undergraduate and taught German for beginners for three years prior to his undergraduate career. Schopi’s main areas of interest are linguistics and philosophy. Outside of school, he enjoys heavy metal and watching “Beavis and Butthead.”
