Jacob Hoffman will join our program on the linguistics-philology track. He has obtained a BA with a major in informatics and a minor in German at Indiana University in the fall of 2019. He has worked on traces of Christianity in the late 5th century manuscript Vergilius Romanus. He has also worked as an information technology assistant and taught the mathematical foundations of informatics to large classes of undergraduate students. Jacob has received recognition as “Highest Academic Achievement Among Third Year Students” during the IU Summer Intensive Russian workshop in 2018.
