The IU German Film & Theater Project for high schools ('GFTP') is a day of workshops, sketches, food, fun, film festival and prizes, all designed to celebrate the creativity of Indiana high school German students and their teachers. We, the IU Department of Germanic Studies instructors and volunteers, are proud to host the eleventh annual German Film & Theater Project on our campus on Friday, April 12th!

In addition to the main categories of Best Drama and Best Comedy that our department votes on, GFTP attendees on April 12th will view all video submissions together film-festival-style to vote for the Audience Choice Award!

There will also be specialized award certificates on top of those three to acknowledge each video that is submitted.

To participate in the German Film & Theater Project, please submit videos (and any questions / other materials) to gerthtr@indiana.edu by Friday, March 29th.
