Graduate students wishing to study abroad may apply for a Primary Partner Graduate Student Grant, for example, to conduct research at the Freie Universität Berlin.

The Indiana University Bloomington campus also selects and submits nominees for DAAD fellowships to Germany, and organizes the local student application process for Fulbright scholarships.
